The Hibernian Cultural and Charitable Association (HCCA) is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Louisville, KY. The nonprofit promotes the advancement of Irish culture through fundraising events and charitable giving. The premier event of the HCCA is the annual St. Patrick's Parade in Louisville, KY.
THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, INCLUDING, FOR SUCH PURPOSES, THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, OR CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE. WE ORGANIZE, RAISE FUNDS FROM SPONSORS AND THE PUBLIC TO PUT ON THE ANNUAL ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE IN LOUISVILLE, KY TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND ADVANCE THE CAUSE OF THE IRISH CULTURE. WE OCCASIONALLY MAKE SMALL DONATIONS TO OTHER CHARITIES THAT PROMOTE IRISH CULTURE OR DO GOOD WORKS FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEDGED. WE AWARD PRIZES TO THE ANNUAL WINNER OF OUR COLORING CONTEST, NOT TO EXCEED $1,000 TOTAL ($300 GRAND PRIZE). WE MAKE OCCASIONAL, SMALL DONTAIONS TO GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS THAT FURTHER IRISH CULTURE.
